The Cameroon Savannah is located in the northern half of the country bordering CAR, Chad, and Nigeria.
This is spectacular beautiful country with an annual rainfall of 40 plus inches in the summer. The Savannah is located north of the equator hence Winter is the months of December-February. This is the time when the Lord Derby / Giant Eland have the black ruff hair around their neck, and the black tuff of hair on their faces.
The Savannah consists of a Woodland Savannah with lots of trees and grass plains, mountains, rivers, creeks, and hilly country. It is not open flat grass plains.

The food in camp is prepared by chefs trained in restaurants in France. Food is excellent.
Evenings are spend enjoying a small but very cosy fire. Peanuts are served together with wine, and liquor.
Bread and all pastries are baked to perfection in this oven.

Comfortable beds are available in camp with mosquito nets as this is a Malaria Area.

Guns are sighted in before hunts start.
Toyota Landcruiser 4x4 cars are used for hunting.
The skins are salted,tagged and dried in the Salt Room.
The dry skins is secured on wooden racks inside the brick building after being dried in the wooden salt room.
Djibao Concession is located alongside the Boumba N'Djida National Park, seperated by a small seasonal flowing river. This is the Premier concession for Lord Derby eland as the herds move in and out of the Park into the Concession area with numerous resident eland herds staying in the concession area.
